MONDAY: We will start our week with Mahomes hair/headband/hat

As we navigate the winter season, we want to ensure our students' education continues without significant disruption. The Crocker School District has been approved for 36 hours of Alternative Methods of Instruction (AMI) for the 2024-25 school year. While our calendar includes approximately eight weather days, we have already used five due to snow and cold temperatures.
Should the need arise, the next three weather days will remain traditional non-school days. However, beyond those, we must prepare to use AMI days to prevent extending the school year into scheduled breaks like spring break.
Looking ahead, the district is also using this as an opportunity to plan proactively for future years. We aim to create a more seamless AMI process that supports our students, staff, and families while considering the unique needs of our community. Your input will be invaluable as we move forward with district-wide planning for the next school year.
To help us better understand your needs—such as access to technology, internet connectivity, and supplies—we’ve created a short survey for parents and guardians.
At this time, AMI planning is purely proactive. More details will follow as we refine the plan based on your feedback. Please take a few moments to complete the survey and share your thoughts on how we can make AMI days effective for all our students.
