📚 The Book Fair has arrived, and Clifford even rode shotgun to make sure all the books made it safely to Crocker! 🐾❤️ The Book Fair will be open next week - Tuesday, September 8 through Friday, September 11. 📖 Family Night Tuesday, September 8 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. 📖 Grandparents Night Thursday, September 10 5:00 to 6:30 p.m. Come shop for some great new books and help us celebrate the joy of reading! We can’t wait to see our Crocker families and grandparents! 🦁📚

Just a friendly reminder that the Boys Soccer game has been moved to Laquey with a 7:00 start time and the Baseball game time has been moved to 6:00.

Join us on Thursday, September 10th, from 5:00-6:30 PM for our Games with Grands - Grandparent’s Night! All students grades preschool-5th and PAT families are invited to come enjoy games with their grandparents or grandfriends! RSVP forms will be coming home today and tomorrow. Please send them in by September 8th to help us plan accordingly. Please note - the Book Fair will be running during Games with Grands. However, if you'd prefer a dedicated family night for the Book Fair, it is scheduled for September 8th. Thank you!

🎒 Thank You, AUSA! 🦁 A big thank you to the AUSA Fort Leonard Wood Chapter for donating backpacks, clothing, shoes, books, toothbrushes, socks, underwear, and other supplies to support Crocker students and families. These items were collected as part of AUSA’s Third Annual Jeep Fest and will help local students start the school year with items they need at home and at school. The donation also included clothing for our nurse’s office when students need a change of clothes during the school day. We appreciate AUSA and everyone who contributed through Jeep Fest for supporting our students and community! 💙🤍

ATHLETIC SCHEDULE UPDATES FOR THIS WEEK:

Frisco League Softball Tournament: Monday-Wednesday games moved to 6:00 and 8:00. Thursday games moved to 5:30, 7:00, and 8:30.

Boys Soccer game on Tuesday moved to Laquey at 7:00.

Baseball game on Tuesday moved to 6:00.

Baseball game on Friday moved to 6:30.

As of now, the soccer game at Lebanon time remains unchanged.

📢 Missouri State University Admission Updates

Forwarded from Missouri State University: A couple of important updates for students planning to apply to Missouri State for Fall 2027 and beyond! 🐻

💰 $40 Application Fee
Beginning with the Fall 2027 admission cycle, students will be required to pay a $40 application fee. Eligible students may qualify for a fee waiver, including students who meet certain financial-need requirements or have completed dual credit through Missouri State. Fee waiver options will be available directly within the application.

📅 Earlier Admission Decisions
Missouri State’s first round of admission decisions will be released no later than December 15. Students who have their FAFSA on file by December 1 will receive both their admission decision and financial aid offer before winter break!

Students with questions about the application fee waiver should contact their Missouri State Admission Counselor or the Missouri State admissions team for assistance.

🌱 Growing Something New at LEAP! 🌱 A big thank you to B&N Excavating for donating the topsoil for our new LEAP Gardening Club! Our students will soon use this space to plant, learn, and watch their hard work grow. The bottom photo shows our vision for the area once the project is complete. We appreciate B&N Excavating for helping us bring this idea to life and supporting our Crocker students! 💙🦁🌻

📣 Nurse Pick-Up Procedures | PreK–12th Grade

Parents & guardians, if the nurse calls for your student to be picked up during the school day, please follow these steps:

🚙 Pull into the circle drive
➡️ Drive around to the last set of doors
🔔 Press the doorbell located outside the door
👩🏼‍⚕️ Nurse Krista will answer and bring your student out to you!

These procedures apply to all students, PreK through 12th grade, who are being picked up from the nurse’s office.

Update: First day of School Edition - Preschool through 1st grade students who are going to be walked into their classrooms on the first day of school, please note classrooms will not open until 7:30. If your child is walked in before 7:30, they will be directed to the high school gym. Thank you.
