Want to help your child read? The following sites have useful information for you!
Each month, three "golden tickets" will be hidden in library books. If a student checks out a book that has a golden ticket inside, reads the book, and passes the AR quiz, he or she will receive a certificate for a free item at either Burger Hut or The Brew!
Preschool and kindergarten are listening to the Building Block nominees in library classes. These are chosen by the Missouri Library Association. A list of this year's titles can be found here.
Grades 1-3 are listening to the Show Me Readers Award Nominees during library classes. These are chosen by the Missouri Association of School Librarians. Information about this award can be found here.
Students in grades 4-6 have the opportunity to participate in the Mark Twain Readers Award sponsored by the Missouri Association of School Librarians. Information about this award can be found here.
