Want to help your child read? The following sites have useful information for you!
Each month, three "golden tickets" will be hidden in library books. If a student checks out a book that has a golden ticket inside, reads the book, and passes the AR quiz, he or she will receive a certificate for a free item at either Burger Hut or The Brew!
Preschool and kindergarten are listening to the Building Block nominees in library classes. These are chosen by the Missouri Library Association. A list of this year's titles can be found here.
Grades 1-3 are listening to the Show Me Readers Award Nominees during library classes. These are chosen by the Missouri Association of School Librarians. A list of this year's nominees can be found here.
Students in grades 4-6 have the opportunity to participate in the Mark Twain Readers Award sponsored by the Missouri Association of School Librarians. A list of this year's nominees can be found here.
