RTI Gets into the Halloween Spirit with Pumpkin Painting Contest! 🎃

RTI classes got into the Halloween spirit by participating in a fun and creative pumpkin painting contest! Each class used their RTI time to transform ordinary pumpkins into unique and festive creations.

Mrs. Schrorer and Mrs. Spellman’s classes recreated delicious desserts, including a candy apple and an ice cream cone. Mrs. Eads’s class gave their pumpkin a glamorous makeover with a fabulous hairstyle and bright red lips. Mrs. Gregoire’s class brought the popular Minions to life with their pumpkin creation. Meanwhile, Mrs. Uptegrove’s class embraced the spooky side of Halloween with a frightfully fun pumpkin design!

Students had the opportunity to show off their creativity, teamwork, and artistic talents while enjoying a little Halloween fun. Each pumpkin brought something special to the contest, making it a wonderful way to celebrate the season!

Great job to all of our RTI classes for their creativity and participation! Happy Halloween! 🎃👻

Blessings in a Bag will be Thursday, October 29th, from 3:30 to 5:30 PM, at the Crocker Elementary Library. Items such as eggs, meat, canned goods, and meal prep foods are available. Parent / Teacher Conferences and early release reminders

Students in American History had a primary source hunt using magnifying glasses to find text evidence in the Declaration of Independence and Virginia Declaration of Rights.

The 7th graders have been busy building Outrageous Energy Contraptions (Rube Goldberg machines). They have been studying energy transfers and energy transformations and had to build an extravagant machine to perform a simple task. They then had to present their contraption to the class and describe how energy was transferred and transformed.

Kindergarten had fun learning about the life cycle of a pumpkin! They read about Pumpkin Jack and even made their very own Pumpkin Jack to watch the life cycle of a pumpkin unfold in their very own classrooms! So cool!
