Crocker R-II | ''2024-25 Child Care Paraprofessional' | 'OTHER' -- The Crocker R-II School District is currently taking applications for a paraprofessional to supervise the Child Care program for children from infants to 3 years old. Your role encompasses a range of responsibilities crucial for the well-being and development of the children under your care. Central to your duties is the provision of attentive supervision and care, ensuring the safety and security of each child while fostering an environment conducive to their growth. You'll follow a structured daily routine tailored to the needs of young children, including feeding, napping, playtime, and age-appropriate learning activities. From assisting with diaper changes and toilet training to supporting feeding and promoting proper hygiene practices, your hands-on involvement in the children's daily routines is paramount. Engaging children in enriching activities that stimulate their cognitive, social, emotional, and physical development is also key. This involves reading stories, singing songs, facilitating art projects, and overseeing sensory play experiences. Alongside these tasks, maintaining a clean and safe environment, communicating effectively with parents, collaborating with colleagues, and documenting children's progress are integral components of your role. Your dedication to professional development and flexibility in adapting to the evolving needs of the children and the daycare community further contribute to the nurturing atmosphere essential for the children's flourishing. Experience This is a full-time position that is supported by board-sponsored medical and life insurance. CPR, CDA, and experience are recommended.
