Crocker R-II | 'EL Counselor' | 'Counselor- Elementary' -- Crocker Elementary School is currently accepting applications for a Guidance Counselor for the 2023-2024 school year. The counselor will provide classroom guidance lessons, individual counseling, and small group counseling. The counselor will also help connect families with community resources, coordinate testing, and participate in building committee teams. QUALIFICATIONS: Valid Missouri Certification required, Master's Degree in Guidance and Counseling, Grade level PK - 5th. Salary is based on the board approved salary schedule, with a competitive benefit package.
Crocker R-II | ''2023-2024 Secondary PE Teacher' | 'Physical Education' -- The Crocker R-II School District is seeking to hire a high school/middle school PE and health teacher for the 2023-24 school year. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: To create a flexible instructional program and a class environment favorable to learning and personal growth. To establish effective rapport with students assigned to the classroom. To motivate pupils to develop attitudes and knowledge needed to ensure that effective learning occurs for each child, every day. Provides positive feedback and encouragement for students. Facilitates an environment that promotes improved oral and written English skills, academic success, social growth, and well-being of all students. Organizes and uses a variety of teaching techniques, strategies, materials, and technology to maximize the learning of each child, individually and in group settings. Assesses student progress, provides students and parents with specific feedback, and uses the results to adjust instruction as needed; serves as a communication link between school and home. Crocker R-II | 'Secondary Counselor' | 'Counselor- Secondary' -- The Crocker R-II School District is seeking applications for a Secondary Counselor for the 2023-2024 school year. Must hold appropriate Missouri certification. Duties will include counseling students, scheduling students, and maintaining student records pertinent to graduation requirements. Creating four-year plans with all high schoolers, while supporting students in their college and career exploration. Provide positive communication as a liaison with community agencies and refer students and parents to outside resources when necessary. District test coordinator including ACT, EOC, MAP, and ASVAB. Oversight of career center, virtual students, and dual credit classes. Consult with district-level staff and administration to ensure the needs of students are met.
